Chicken Broccoli Bake
My own recipe. It's a family favorite.
3 cups cooked chicken cut into 1 inch pieces
2 – 8 oz. pcream cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups milk
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (later)
1 small bag of prepared fresh chopped broccoli heads (If they don't sell these in your area, just buy 2 fresh broccoli heads)
1 package Penne pasta
1/2 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Cook the pasta. Drain and set aside.
Steam the broccoli. Drain well (or your sauce will be runny). Cut into bite-size pieces. Add this to the pasta along with the chicken. Mix to combine.
In a saucepan, mix milk, soft cream cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and 1 cup Parmesan cheese, Stir until thick. Pour this sauce over the pasta.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until heated through.
Serves 8.
